Mrs. M.Usha holds a Masters Degree with distinction from Osmania University and B.Ed from Nagarjuna University. She has qualified CSIR-UGC NET. She has 15 years of teaching experience at graduate and post graduate level. She has two papers published to her credit in UGC recognized National and indexed International Journals.
She is specialised in the areas of Molecular Biology, and Biochemical Techniques. She has expertise in training students in laboratory work. She has guided several projects for Postgraduate students.She is an evaluator for B.Sc and M.Sc Semester end examinations of Osmania University.
She has presented a poster in Regional workshop on “Research Based Pedagogical tools” Organised by Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India, IISER Pune, and MHRD and Presented a paper on” Implementation options of Research Oriented Teaching”.
She Participated in a video conference course organised by Ohio State University and Osmania University. She has successfully completed online courses offered by IIT Madras through NPTEL.
She participated in Teacher training programmes organised by Osmania University for lecturers teaching PG Biochemistry students on” Biostatistics and Model Organisms”, “ Quantitative Biology and Molecular Biology of Stress”.
To improvise the experimental skills she has participated in Workshops on Molecular Techniques and Cytogenetics.
She Participated in “Meet the Scientists” Science Out reach program for Teachers Organised by CCMB in collaboration with University of Edinberg, UK.
She also has to her credit organising several National Symposia, workshops and outreach programmes.
